 Cacoethes-Scribendi.com?

Hi. I know this is a long shot, as no one appears to be visiting this forum anymore, but I was wondering: what happened to the Cacoethes Scribendi site? It appears to have disappeared off the face of the internet. Has it been moved somewhere, or simply removed? Where can I find the resources that were on it, if at all?

 Hello
« Result #3 on Dec 27, 2004, 5:15pm »

;) Hello I'm a new member. Seems as though people here like to read as well as write. I am looking for assignments to stimulate me as I am too focused on tv otherwise- it baffles the mind how much time is wasted on tv and video games. Real culture is rarely known by the younger generations- and I'm in my 30's and I feel that way about teenager conversations.
But I hope to heal myself from the life experiences I have had by writing- like the singing detective.
Good luck and a hello from new york to all! I love this city- as populated as it is. It gives topics to us when we sit and watch the people walk by.

;) thats a great reason to join a forum like this except it seems to be not populated for the last 6 months or so. I can recommend writing on the barnes and noble university and joining one of their classes for free- they have online writing classes. I don;t know how good they are but keep writing its therapeutic you know.

I like the bus, especially when high school kids are riding. There's no way to avoid what they're saying. Michele

B-beat
A change in dramatic action requiring a character to respond to new information driving the story forward. e.g. the plot twist where the protagonist discovers that the stranger lurking at the tomb is actually her long lost father, Lord Geoffrey Frog-Bottom Graveside III. ;)

Hi, my name's Michele. A few months back a couple of my favorite profs told me that I should try to get an mfa in creative writing. I'd just seperated from my husband and didn't really know what to do with that idea. I need to write, but I'm scared and I get overwhelmed and distracted easily lately. I'm hoping this will be a safe place where I can get my feet under me and really discover what committing to a life as a writer means.

 Surfed in.....
« Result #8 on Oct 19, 2004, 6:07am »

Hi,

My names Jack aka GrayGhost, and I've been writing for more moons without accomplishing much than I care to mention. 48, live in SW England.... recently I've been bugged (internally and externally) to get back to writing - unfulfilled creation etc etc - dragging my psyche down ....

So I need an avenue, some motivation, even feedback... hopefully this place is a good start if not more!

I look forward to things to come...

Jack.
